Okay, maybe I got a little carried away. Maybe I saw red and forgot for a sec that these kids aren’t enemies—they’re just trying to figure things out like me.

Ms. Teri almost gave me a look I’ve seen before… not mad, just disappointed. That’s worse, honestly. I didn’t sign up for group hugs, but this heavy feeling in my chest is WAY more uncomfortable than that.  I guess I see that my bad behaviors were the REAL bad guys of this story.
