The Shop Was Always Open 🌐📚
A quick note from behind the counter of Southfield’s SUPER Secret Comic Shop.
I’ve recently moved away from Southfield, to a new state even — but I want to be very clear about something important.
Southfield’s SUPER Secret Comic Shop was never a brick-and-mortar space.
There was never a locked door.
Never store hours.
Never a “closed” sign.
From day one, this shop was built as a digital space — a blog — so anyone could walk in, anytime. Kids. Families. Curious readers. First-time fans. Long-time collectors.
That hasn’t changed.
The name “Southfield” was never about a building — it was about a state of mind: a neighborhood where stories are shared, questions are welcomed, and comics feel friendly instead of intimidating.
So yes, MY physical location has changed.
But the shop is still open.
The lights are still on.
And the shelves are still being stocked.
If you’ve ever read a post, shared one with a kid, or discovered a new comic here — you’re already part of this place.
Q&A: What was the first thing you ever discovered inside Southfield’s SUPER Secret Comic Shop?
