Uh-oh!  In the first two issues of Wonder Care, we're really just getting to know our young heroes; understanding their powers AND personalities!  But, in this issue, we're getting introduced to the first "bad guy" of the series!  

Named, Snewz* (pronounced "snooze") he's a special kind of menace with a very unique power!    

 One of my FAVORITE parts of writing all-ages comics is being able to weave clever puns into the narrative.  And this is an important skill, especially if the subject matter could be something truly terrifying or traumatic.  We called this issue, "Beware the Kid Napper!" purposefully, making kid-napper two words to give a BIG clue to what shenanigans our first villain is upto.  

*Snewz's first appearance was in a 5 part comic strip called "Anyway But Snewz," originally published in the Columbus Alive newspaper.
