Do you remember the magic of Saturday mornings? Big bowls of cereal, cartoons on the TV, and the world feeling full of endless possibilities? Well, we’re here to bring that same excitement to YOU—but with an epic twist: comics!

At Southfield’s SUPER Secret Comic Shop, we don’t just love stories. We LOVE superheroes, wild adventures, and fun that jumps right off the page! And today, we’re kicking off something extra special.

Meet The Kinder Guardians:

Let’s talk about "The Kinder Guardians"—a superhero team like no other! Imagine your favorite superheroes, but as kids, hilarious, and ready to save the day their own way. Think Muppet Babies meets the Justice League. Sounds awesome, right?







Our first issue, "How Far is Up?!" focuses on three students, Pep -- our resident SPEEDSTER, and the Ultra Twins, Castor and Pollux. 

Pep, the resident speedster, has a goal to run THROUGH the sky!  But, supporting it puts Ultra-Twins, Castor and Pollux at odds.  Is it better to let reality anchor your dreams or encourage the impossible?

You’ll meet Pep, a pint-sized hero with more heart than you can imagine. Then there are the Ultra Twins—double the trouble, double the fun, and always ready with their super-cool powers. Together, these young heroes are learning what it really means to work as a team, stand up for what’s right, and have a blast doing it!








But we need your help! Before you dive in, here’s a fun question:
Q&A: If YOU could create your own superhero team, who would you include? What superpowers would they have? Let us know in the comments below or shout it out to your family and friends!

    Woot! First post! Let's see...it'd be easy for me to say The Kinder Guardians, I DID co-create already -- but let's keep the creativity going and come up with a NEW superhero team!! There's a classic setup for a superhero team: Leader, Genius, Rogue, Flyer, and Strongman! What I appreciate most is the ability for ANYONE to take on these roles. No matter if you're male or female, young or old, big or small!

    If YOU want to use this roster as a starting point for your super team, I'd LOVE to see what you come up with!
